Grant-Lee Phillips is heading back to Whelans Friday, October 16 for a headline show.

“I’m drawing on the urgency of the moment,” the former lead singer of Grant Lee Buffalo reflected on his latest album, Widdershins. “The things that eat away in the late hours…”

Phillips channels his decades of musical experience in Widdershins, which he uses to discuss today’s tense social landscape.

“I hope to express my faith in people, my faith in the good ideas we’re capable of, and that regardless of what opposition we face, the fact that we can surmount these things,” he concluded.

Tickets are €26, on sale this Friday, February 7 at 10am.
