One of hip-hop's pioneers is making his way to the Academy next month.

The hugely influential Grandmaster Flash is widely known for his DJing, mixing and cutting skills, all of which helped shape what we know as modern hip-hop.

Grandmaster Flash will perform at The Academy on April 8.

He'll headline the main room Circus club night. Tickets are €10 on the door, with an €8 cheaplist available on Facebook.
