Gorillaz announce new album The Mountain and Belfast and Dublin dates
Tickets for both the Belfast and Dublin dates go onsale next Friday.
Gorillaz have announced their new album The Mountain, set to be released on March 20, 2026, with a UK and Ireland tour to follow.
Their Irish tour dates include shows at the SSE Arena in Belfast on March 31, and 3Arena in Dublin on April 1.
Tickets for the Belfast and Dublin dates will be listed for general onsale next Friday, September 19 at 11:00.
The Mountain is Gorillaz's ninth album and will be comprised of a 15 song track list, with features from Johnny Marr, IDLES and Black Thought.
Tracks will be performed in 5 different languages including: Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba. The album was recorded in studios around the world including: in lead singer Damon Albarn's studio in Devon, England, Mumbai, New Delhi, Rajasthan, and Varanasi, India; Ashgabat, Turkmenistan; Damascus, Syria; Los Angeles, Miami, and New York.
The album was produced by Gorillaz, James Ford, Samuel Egglenton, and Remi Kabaka Jr., as well as Bizarrap.
The first single off the forthcoming album, titled 'The Happy Dictator', was released on September 11 and features American pop duo Sparks.
The Mountain will be Gorillaz's first album released under their newly-launched record label Kong.
