Kiefer Sutherland announces new album GREY
Listen to ‘Simpler Time’ below.
Kiefer Sutherland has announced his upcoming album GREY, set to be released on May 29 via Maple Creek Records.
This is the British-Canadian actor and country, Americana folk musician's fourth studio album.
"To begin, I want to express how happy and excited I am to be releasing my fourth album, GREY," said Sutherland.
"The songs were written and recorded over a two-year period from 2024 to 2026. In many ways these songs mark a growth for me personally, as I wrote less about observations and more about personal feelings that I have been navigating in my own life."
Alongside the news, Sutherland shared a track from the forthcoming record, ‘Simpler Time’.
"‘Simpler Time’ is a reflection on my youth and the memory of a time that felt more reliable culturally, socially and politically," explained Sutherland. "I am aware that the memory of one's youth is often seen through rose tinted glasses, but in this instance, personally, I don't think so."
Sutherland will be performing at Belfast's The Empire Music Hall on May 20 and at Dublin's The Ambassador Theatre on May 21. These shows are part of his UK and Europe Love Will Bring You Home Tour, which will kick off in Luxembourg on April 14.
Tickets for the tour are available here.
