Gomez mainman plans solo show

Gomez singer-songwriter Ben Ottewell has just announced details of a Dublin show in February. He'll take to the Academy 2 stage, alone, on Sunday February 27, supporting his upcoming album Shapes And Shadows, which is out on February 7. Shapes And Shadows is a collection of solo pieces Ottewell has been working on for the past five years, in between the Gomez day job, and will draw on the music of Nick Drake and John Martyn.
