Glitter & Doom Live
A sophisticated gentleman does a poo
Being “classically trained” is a dubious note for your musical CV to strike if you’re in the business of production-line emo for soon-to-be-unemployed record executives to drool over. It’s the equivalent of being an Oxford don writing headlines for The Sun – totally beside the point. This Hills-soundtrack pop-rock is so bad it makes me yearn for the days of Busted (Charlie was sooo dreamy), and the fact that Elliot Minor happen to be classically trained (which seems to be their Unique Selling Point) is as relevant to the music as their angular haircuts are to their pop-offending brains.
