GLC confirmed in final ViTal line-up
Goldie Lookin' Chain will play alongside Ash, The Darkness (and possibly YOU!) at the upcoming ViTal festival in Belfast
Goldie Lookin' Chain will make their storming debut in Belfast this month, playing the Tennent's ViTal festival on Monday, August 30.
The Newport massive play the Botanic Gardens stage alongside The Darkness, Ash and Jurassic 5. Also confirmed for the Bank Holiday Monday bill are Downpatrick four-piece The Answer and Acidtone, who recently emerged as victors of the Wella Shockwaves Unsigned competition in Vicar St.
Prior to that, Jet is the newest addition to the August 25 line-up, joining The White Stripes, Peaches, Blanche and New York Dolls, who recently lost their bassist Arthur Killer Kane to leukemia.
This leaves the only bands yet to be confirmed as the winners of the Incoming competition. If you think your band is good enough to grace the BBC Radio One Incoming Stage then get your demo in the post - post haste! - to the following address:
The Incoming Competition
Radio 1, BBC Broadcasting House
Ormeau Road
Belfast
BT2 8HQ
All applications must be received by Wednesday, August 11. The two winners will be picked from a pool of five, with the live finals taking place at the Limelight on August 18. Admission to that event is free.
Tickets for ViTal, priced £33.00 for each day, are on sale now from Virgin, Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.vital04.com.
