Donegal band In Their Thousands were the winners of the Grand Final of the Guinness Play On The Day competition in Whelan's last night, and we've got all the photos for your viewing pleasure. The competition is run in association with Hot Press and RTE 2fm.

Protobaby, The Hot Sprockets, The Calvinists and competition winners In Their Thousands battled it out last night in front of a bumper Whelans crowd in the Guinness Play On The Day competition.

The Hot Press team were out in force for what was a great night of live music in the Wexford Street venue.
