Fund it passes €3m in pledges
Landmark reached following 1000 projects in past 3 and a half years
Dublin based crowdfunding website fundit.ie are today celebrating passing the €3m mark in pledges to projects on its site.
The site, which is run by non-profit organisation Business to Arts, has been in operation for three and a half years and boasts an impressive 73% success rate. 1000 projects have been featured on its pages, ranging from films, books and albums to projects in science, art and fashion.
Speaking about the milestone, Andrew Hetherington, Chief Executive of Business to Arts and Fund it said: “At a time when there is much discussion about the strength of Ireland’s creative talent and the potential of harnessing a global audience, we are excited that so many people across the world are championing Irish creativity, and pledging to help projects happen via Fund it.”
