From Nowhere [SertOne remix]
Liverpudlian rugby player-turned-electronic noisemaker Dan Croll is one of the many stars-in-waiting who’s been criminally overlooked by the usual hype lists, but leave it to Northy beatmaker SertOne to keep us abreast of new talent and provide us with delicious new tunage at the same time. The roaming producer has whipped up a free remix of Croll’s ‘From Nowhere’, complete with hissing, re-worked hooks, and thundering, worldbeat rhythms. For those new to Croll’s creations, or indeed Sert’s, this grimy little number will have you reaching for the back catalogue before you know it.
