From a whisper to a scream...
The Whispering Gallery present a concert featuring solo pieces from members of The Jimmy Cake, Uptown Racquet Club and more
The Whispering Gallery’s latest live installment is set to take place in the John Field room of the National Concert Hall on April 14, and will feature solo pieces from members of The Jimmy Cake, Uptown Racquet Club, Bad Lunatic and the Dublin Guitar Quartet.
Organised by a collective of Dublin-based artists who present concerts to cater for the growing interest in sound installation, experimental electronic and improvised music, the show will include new works by Brian Bolger (Dublin Guitar Quartet), Roy Carrol (Double Adaptor), Donnacha Costello (Uptown Racquet Club, Mille Plateaux), Simon O’Connor (The Jimmy Cake, Bad Lunatic), Judith Ring, Jurgen Simpson (The Jimmy Cake) and Paul Smyth (The Jimmy Cake, David Kitt).
Tickets cost €10 (€6 for students).
