Fontaines D.C. , KNEECAP and more donate vinyl for Records for Palestine raffle
The prize draw will be open for two months, starting today, and closing on Thursday, May 7.
Fontaines D.C., KNEECAP, and more have donated vinyl for the Records for Palestine raffle.
Records for Palestine have organised an online prize draw of vinyl to fundraise for Medical Aid for Palestine (MAP).
"Throughout history, music has played a significant role in solidarity movements, and this moment is no different," said Records for Palestine. "Many artists have been involved in fundraising and raising awareness both online and in person - from the web to the stage.
"Records for Palestine provides another way for artists, labels, curators and music fans to pledge support, allowing us to raise funds, whilst also giving artists and labels a platform to stand in visible solidarity with Palestinians."
A total of 30 labels and over 200 artists spanning over multiple genres and music cultures from across the world have donated vinyl.
Alongside Fontaines D.C. and KNEECAP, the featured artists include David Holmes, The Five Techniques, Just Mustard, Fräulein, Seamus Fogarty, Beauty Sleep, and more.
The records have been devided between between two raffles. One raffle comprises rock, alternative, indie and electronic artists; and the other includes jazz, soul and global groove music.
The rock and alternative raffle has 17 bundles of vinyl to win, whereas the other includes 30.
The prize draw will be open for two months, starting today, before closing on Thursday, May 7. It will happen online, with winners being emailed and announced across social media.
An entry costs £5, but multiple-entry bundles are available.
UK and overseas entries are allowed. However, you must have a UK postal address.
MAP advocates for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. They provide medical aid while developing local capacity and skills to ensure the long-term development of the Palestinian healthcare system.
