Florence + The Machine announce new album Everybody Scream
The record will be released on October 31.
Florence + The Machine have announced their next album Everybody Scream, set for release on October 31, to coincide with Halloween.
The announcement was made on Instagram earlier today, August 19, where Florence Welch shared a series of images from the album’s artwork.
It comes following a cryptic video where the singer is seen digging a hole in the dirt and screaming into it, which ignited widespread speculation from fans.
Pre-order links have been put up on the band’s website, revealing that the tracklist would contain 12 songs and would be available on cassette, CD and vinyl. There will also be ‘Chamber Versions’ of the latter two formats, containing four bonus tracks and an alternate cover. The cassette will also come in a 'Bloodwood Edition', featuring a different album artwork.
Welsh has also recently shared footage of herself working in the recording studio with Idles' Mark Bowen, although it is not known whether he has played a production role in the new record.
Everybody Scream is the follow up to Florence + The Machine’s 2022 album Dance Fever, which was released to widespread critical acclaim and earned a 9/10 from Hot Press.
Everybody Screams is available for pre-order here.
