Florence Road make Irish Radio History with their song 'Hanging Out To Dry'
Catch them at Electric Picnic August 30.
Florence Road have made Irish radio history with their new song 'Hanging Out To Dry', which topped the Irish Airplay Chart.
They are the second Irish female act to reach no.1 since Radio monitor records began in 2012. The four-piece Wicklow band are the first all-female act to have the most-played track on Irish radio.
This landmark achievement comes after a whirlwind Summer of Live shows across Europe, festival appearances at Primavera Sound as well as supporting Addison Rae, Two Door Cinema Club and Kings of Leon.
As the band gear up for their upcoming performances at Summer Sonic in Japan and Rock en Seine in Paris, many await their highly anticipated homecoming to Electric Picnic. The band will be playing at Stradbally, Co.Laois on Sunday, August 30.
In May, Florence Road played their biggest Irish headline show to date at the 3Olympia.
"The band leave the stage watched by a crowd that feels fully convinced they have just seen a band on the edge of something much, much bigger." said Hot Press, after reviewing the gig.
The gig is captured in the official live video for 'Hanging Out To Dry (Dublin Version)' directed by Ais Brady. Watch it below:
