Fizzy Orange, Negro Impacto and more announced for new Final Frontier Festival in Dublin
The lineup includes Negro Impacto, Fizzy Orange, Skinner, Sell Everything and many more
The organisers of House of Hibernia and Sleepover Club are co-curating a one-day, independent music and arts micro-festival taking place at a secret outdoor location in Dublin, on September 6.
Final Frontier is described as a community and grassroots driven experience for Irish audiences, with a capacity of just 500. The festival organisers are passionate about facilitating a new space for Ireland's diverse underground music scene.
This year’s lineup includes Fizzy Orange, Negro Impacto, Claudia Isaki, Sell Everything, Skinner, Delivery Service, Saibhin and many more.
The festival features over 10 live acts across two outdoor stages, alongside a lounging area, barn yard, games zone, food trucks, and a fully independent bar serving local Irish brands. A return coach service is included in every ticket, ensuring easy access to and from the site.
"At its heart, Final Frontier is about community, discovery and giving people the necessary space to properly take in their surroundings and music," said the co-curators.
"No overcrowding, or €10 euro pints allowed."
Following the day event, an official afterparty will take place at The Grand Social featuring live performances from Robbie Stickland, Mac Steady and Smithereens
"Final Frontier is about building a truly independent festival, partnering with only grassroots brands, artists and local businesses," added the curators.
"We're a boutique festival, our capacity compared to the bigger players with 10K+ attendance, is like chalk and cheese really. We're aiming to fill the void left by Body&Soul but those are big shoes to fill."
House of Hibernia has created a fresh take on the gig experience in Dublin and surrounding counties, hosting many guerrilla gigs in secret locations like forests and underpasses. Sleepover club have brought countless sold-out gigs to The Workmans Club in Dublin and across Ireland, spotlighting Irish talent.
