First Aid Kit to open 'Wider Than Pictures' series at National Museum of Ireland
Singular Artists has released the first headliner for this year's Wider Than Pictures series: First Aid Kit.
Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit are set to headline the Wider Than Pictures series this August, performing on August 21st with support from English musician Nick Mulvey.
This is the second summer in a row that Singular Artists will host a series of outdoor shows at the National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks. In the 2022 series, the venue hosted artists such as Alt-J and Fleet Foxes.
Sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg of First Aid Kit will open the series, bringing their signature folk and Americana melodies to the stage while weaving in music from their fifth album, Palomino, released in November 2022.
Twice nominated for BRIT awards, the Swedish duo have captivated global audiences with their vibrant and emotional sound since their debut in the late 2000s. Their music can be found in numerous film and television soundtracks, such as The Umbrella Academy.
In July of 2022 the sisters filmed the video for Palomino's leading single 'Out of My Head' in and around Dublin and are excited to return to the city to perform.
Ticket presale begins on March 1st and general on-sale March 3rd. Ticket prices start from €53.65, including booking fee from Ticketmaster.ie and Singularartists.ie.
