Cinerama - newish pet project of erstwhile Wedding Present frontman David Gedge - to play Irish tour in September
"Turbo-driven melodies and bittersweet vignettes taking in everything from John Barry to The Zombies", reckon The Times and, well, who are we to argue?
Those plaudits belong to Cinerama who arrive in in early September for a nationwide tour, taking in the Belfast Empire (Thurs Sept. 5), Cork Half Moon (Fri 6), Limerick's Dolan's Warehouse (Sat 7) and Dublin's Spirit (Sun 8).
Fronted by former Wedding Present mainman Dave Gedge, the band are indeed a bunch of genre-bending geniuses. If you don't believe us, check out their Va Va Voom and Disco Volante albums which are available from all good record stores. And a few crap ones too.
