Belfast International Arts Festival
Where: Various venues and locations across Belfast
When: Core festival runs from October 19-November 6 with other events during the year as part of its extended 60th anniversary celebrations.
What: This contemporary multi-artform festival opened in April with Cristal Palace, which transformed the Titanic Slipway into an open air ballroom. The “core” festival season in October/November has a focus on contemporary performing arts from the Middle East; a selection of queer artists and events from Canada; leading stars of dance Oona Doherty, Jan Martens and Noé Soulier; and new works and premieres from home and abroad.
