Fat White Family have unveiled new song ‘Breaking Into Aldi’.
It’s the band’s first new material since their second album ‘Songs For Our Mothers’ was released in January.
The single was produced by Sean Lennon and the band’s Saoudi brothers, singer Lias and keyboardist Nathan Saoudi, with their regular producer Liam May.
It was co-written by Lennon and Lias Saoudi with Black Lips singer Cole Alexander and Alexander’s girlfriend, K Holes saxophonist Zumi Roscow.

Lias Saoudi said of the song: “This song is a post apocalyptic vision of a barely united United Kingdom bereft of quality German supermarkets and their insipid low prices; ‘Breaking Into Aldi’ is the anthem that never was, a call to arms for the senselessness of our future futility, an overcrowded shadow begging for a rerun, a sell out by sell-outs for sell-outs.
