Fat Dog announce new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired)
You can pre-order the upcoming album now.
Fat Dog have announced the release of their new album Cancel Me (I’m Tired) for October 2.
Accompanying the announcement, is the record's title track.
According to a statement, the new single is "inspired by John Lennon’s 'How Do You Sleep' combined with frontman/songwriter Joe Love imagining what Anatolian rock experimentalists Altın Gün would sound like if they were under siege from a thumping club beat."
The music video, shot with director James Winstanley, sees Fat Dog trying to avoid getting cancelled on an actual night out in London's Soho.
'Cancel Me (I’m Tired)' follows the release of the electro-pop single 'Go Fuck Urself' in May and the band’s support for Kneecap’s Crystal Palace gig last weekend – the only non-Irish band on the bill.
This week, Fat Dog join Foo Fighters on a run of stadium shows, before they headline a UK & European tour starting late October.
This will be the second album by the South London seven-piece, after releasing their debut album WOOF in 2024.
Fat Dog are an electronic, techno-punk band that formed during the Covid-19 lockdown. Prior to the release of their debut single 'King of Slugs' in 2023, the band made a name for their raucous, high-energy performances.
