Hot Press is saddened to learn of the death yesterday in a car crash of Eoghan Mac Aoidh, a member of Dublin outfit The Liberty Kings who were on tour in England.
His fellow guitarist Brian Kelly is in a critical condition while the rest of the band – Darragh Kelly, Colm Slattery and Jason Lawless – were not seriously injured.
The Liberty Kings were traveling along the M1 motorway in Leicestershire when their camper van was involved in a collision with two lorries. Local police say that one person has been arrested in connection with the crash.
