Enya + U2 nominated for Grammys
Enya flies the Irish flag at the Grammys this year, as the world-renowned artiste is up for two awards.
Having already won the prestigious American music award twice, she's now nominated for Best Instrumental Performance for 'Drifting' and Best New Age Album for Amarantine, which was released last November.
The album has since sold strongly in the US (1.3 million copies), Japan (500,000), Germany (385,000) and France (280,000).
Also up for two awards are U2, who may very well bag the prize for Best Pop Collaboration for 'One' with Mary J Blige, and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group for 'The Saints Are Coming', which was performed with Green Day.
Snow Patrol are also up for Best Rock Song, with - you guessed it - 'Chasing Cars'.
The 49th Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 11 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
