Ennio Morricone Is Getting A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
The iconic musician is being honoured by tinsel town
Fresh off his phenomenal Dublin concert at the 3Arena, Hollywood is set to give the legendary composer Ennio Morricone a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The 87-year-old will be given the 2,574th on Hollywood Boulevard. Joining the Italian for the unveiling will be the director Quentin Tarantino, producer Harvey and LA Italia film fest founder, Pascal Vicedomini.
Morricone has composed hundreds of scores for film and TV, working with the likes of Sergio Leone, Roman Polanski and Oliver Stone. He has also sold over 70 million albums during his 70 year career.
The Academy Award winner is jetting in for the Oscars ceremony on February 28. He is nominated in the 'Best Score' category for his piece in The Hateful Eight.
