Ellie Goulding knocks Mark Ronson off top of singles chart
'Love Me Like You Do' goes straight in at the top
Ellie Goulding has leapt straight into the top spot in the Irish singles chart with her new track 'Love Me Like You Do'.
She leapfrogs the current HP cover star Mark Ronson, whose long-time chart-topper 'Uptown Funk' is at No. 2 this week. Another man who's enjoyed a prolonged stay in the upper reaches of the list, Ed Sheeran, is at No. 3 with 'Thinking Out Loud'.
Elsewhere, there's plenty of others who retain their place in the top ten, including Sia, Hozier, Olly Murs and Meghan Trainor. Even the power trio of Rihanna, Kanye West and Paul McCartney trail the resident big-sellers; their 'Four Five Seconds' is at No. 9.
