Elizabeth Moen shares lockdown-inspired EP 'Creature of Habit'

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Elizabeth Moen has shared her six-track EP Creature of Habit. One of our 'Hot for 2020' acts, Moen has always had an innate ability to craft tongue-in-cheek lyrics and pair them with arresting melodies

Moen has also shared a vibrant official music video for 'Who Wants Takeout?,' an earnest celebration of friendship and the essential whimsy it entails. “There are certain friends that have the kind of energy that just makes the entire room feel calm," says Moen. "No pressure to be or do anything but sit and enjoy staring at a fan and doing nothing together. This song had no intentions other than being a playful, drony, homage to those pals I love.”

Moen's new EP approaches mental health with a cathartic balance of candour and profundity. At the time of writing the EP, Moen moved in with her aunt who is a therapist, and in her presence, had become increasingly intrigued by her own inner workings, embarking upon the imperfect process of better understanding them.
