ELECTRIC PICNIC NEWS: Tickets for Electric Picnic 2020 on sale this week
Grab 'em quick! Electric Picnic 2020 tickets go on sale this week.
It's unofficially official: Electric Picnic 2020 is on. And after the hell of weekend we've been having here at EP 2019, you're not going to want to miss out on the fun next time around.
“I can’t actually talk that much about a festival that may happen on this bit of land, on this bit of corresponding grass – a festival very similar to this – until Tuesday,” said Electric Picnic organiser Melvin Benn at a press conference this afternoon. But he was able to spill some details on ticket sales, which start this week.
If you've purchased tickets to any 3 or more previous Electric Picnics, or if you have purchased tickets to 1 or 2 previous Electric Picnics, you are eligible to apply for the Loyalty Scheme. More information on how to apply for the Loyalty Scheme can be found here. If confirmed for the program, you will be sent a code to purchase tickets this Friday, 6 September. General sales will start the following day, Saturday, 7 September at 9am.
And if for whatever unfortunate reason you're already unavailable for next summer's shenanigans, fear not. Benn confirmed that festival's contract with the Cosby's estate, which hosts the festival, is good for another 10 years. So although EP19 will be winding down soon, there's at least another ten weekends of brilliant music on the horizon.
