Sylosis announce headline show at The Academy, Dublin
The heavy metal group will be joined by special guests Revocation, Distant and Life Cycles.
UK heavy metal band Sylosis have announced a headline show at The Academy, Dublin on February 22, 2026.
Sylosis formed in Reading, Berkshire during the early 2000s and have since signed to Nuclear Blast Records.
The band has had various members since its formation.
Rob Callard stepped down as drummer in September 2014, after nine years of playing with the band, and was replaced by Ali Richardson.
The current quartet, comprising of Josh Middleton (lead guitar & vocals), Ali Richardson (drums), Conor Marshall (guitar) and Ben Thomas (bass), has released six studio albums, a live album and two EPs, along with their top tracks ‘Empty Prophets’, ‘Worship Decay’ and ‘Servitude’.
The band went on a hiatus in 2016 as frontman Josh Middleton was filling in for the British metalcore band Architects due to the passing of their guitarist Tom Searle.
Sylosis' return was announced in 2019 with an album release for the following year entitled Cycle of Suffering.
Their latest album, A Sign of Things to Come, was released in 2023.
Speaking of their upcoming tour, the group said: "This is it. 5 years of building towards a UK/EU headline tour with a bill that we are truly proud of. We've been touring hard for the last few years and never been stronger as a unit. This is our time to step it up and show everyone what a Sylosis show is all about.
We love heavy music and have put together a true showcase of modern metal. If you consider yourself a fan of all things heavy, this is a tour that you simply cannot miss.”
Tickets for the Sylosis gig at The Academy, Dublin will be available on July 18 at 10 am via Ticketmaster.
