Electric Picnic Live Review: The Altered Hours
Cork five-piece announce their time to shine
With the Stradbally sun setting for another evening, the natural amphitheatre at the centre of Body& Soul proved the perfect spot for the psych rock of The Altered Hours.
The performance of the Cork five-piece is polished and assured, while brimming with energy. The die-hards gather in front of stage, while the banks surrounding heave with those drawn by the keen mix of synths and industrial guitar lines that the band have made their own.

Favourites like 'Dig Early' and 'Sweet Jelly Roll' are particularly impressive, as the band look to hone their set for an extensive tour of Ireland and the UK in the coming months. If this performance is anything to go by, they're a band not worth missing...
