The lineup includes artists like Basht., Esmeralda Road, and Telebox
The day festival Outside the Box is returning for its third year on July 4 and 5 in Cork and Galway, featuring up-and-coming Irish bands.
Dublin's Basht., who completed a large string of shows in the spring of 2025, will be performing as headliners. Other artists include Esmeralda Road, Theatre, Sell Everything, Pebbledash and Telebox, with more acts to be announced.
Run by the independent Galway band Telebox, the event will take place on July 4 in Coughlan's Bar (Cork) and on July 5 at Róisín Dubh (Galway).
After the festival did well in Galway in 2024, organisers Telebox decided the festival had bigger potential and added a show in Cork this year. The quartet took to Instagram, saying, "We’ve handpicked some of the best talent this country has to offer."

"The Irish gig scene is seeing a serious revitalisation. Our festival will only act as a catalyst to these," said Conall, guitarist of Telebox.
