We've finally reached Electric Picnic week and we're kick-starting it with another archive interview with one of the biggest, most exciting names on the bill. Appearing in the pages of Hot Press back in 2006 as they promoted their Fundamental album, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe got a in-depth grilling from RTE broadcaster Dave Fanning. On the agenda? The political digs they were then sneaking into the new music, AIDS, their enduring friendship, the "theatrical" nature of their live shows and so much more.
