Elaine Malone covers Lee Hazlewood's 'Your Sweet Love' in support of Medical Aid Palestine
Singer-songwriter Elaine Malone has released a cover of 'Your Sweet Love' by Lee Hazelwood on Bandcamp, with all proceeds going to Medical Aid Palestine.
An ethereal and earnest cover of Lee Hazelwood's 'Your Sweet Love' is now available for listeners to purchase as a digital track on Elaine Malone's Bandcamp, with all proceeds going to Medical Aid Palestine.
Multi-instrumentalist Elaine Malone released her debut LP 'Pyrrhic' in 2018, which has been described as an album that "drips with punk magnetism. The multi-talented musician is well-known for her hauntingly evocative vocals, now complemented by an increasingly mature lyricism – and an incredible backing band".
As it is the first Fiday of the month, today is Bandcamp Friday, where 100 % of all proceeds of any music purchased on the platform go to the artist, however Malone has elected to forgo profits, instead donating the proceeds to Medical Aid Palestine.
Malone has been a fixture of Cork's DIY music scene for the bones of a decade now and will tonight perform a sold out show in Plugd Records Cork City to raise funds for Medical Aid Palestine.
The 'Music for Palestine' Gig will feature Elaine Malone, Elaine Howley & Cathal Macgabhann, Majia Sofia and Ruarí De Burca.
