Efterklang announce debut Irish concerts
Orchestral post-rockers Efterklang are to play in Dublin and Belfast this November.
The Danish band have announced a show in Whelan's, Dublin (November 28th) and will follow it up with a show at the Spring & Airbrake in Belfast on November 29th. These will be their debut Irish shows.
The tour is part of the European leg of their autumn tour, and the gigs follow the October 19th release of fourth album Parades. Song 'Cutting Ice To Snow' can be heard on their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/efterklang.
The band recently expanded to an eight-piece, with American violinist Peter Broderick joining their ranks. Active since 2001, they have recorded three LPs (Tripper, One Sided LP and Under Giant Trees) and an EP (Springer).
Tickets for the Dublin show are €17.50. They're available from www.ticketmaster.ie and all usual Ticketmaster outlets.
Belfast tickets cost £8/£12 and are available from the Spring & Airbrake (0044 28 9024 6609) or from www.movingonmusic.co.uk.
