Eagles Of Death Metal crew member among Paris dead
Nick Alexander R.I.P.
It’s been confirmed in the last hour that the Eagles Of Death Metal’s Merchandise Manager, 36-year-old Nick Alexander, was among those killed last night by gunmen in Paris’ La Bataclan venue.
The Englishman had previously worked with the likes of Sum 41 and Panic! At The Disco.
“It is with huge sorrow that we can confirm that our beloved Nick lost his life at the Bataclan last night,” reads a family statement. “Nick was not just our brother, son and uncle, he was everyone’s best friend — generous, funny and fiercely loyal. Nick died doing the job he loved and we take great comfort in knowing how much he was cherished by his friends around the world. Thank you for your thoughts and respect for our family at this difficult time. Peace and light."
Hot Press joins with the rest of the rock ’n’ roll world in sending its condolences to Nick’s friends and family.
