Duke Special releases rarities album + EP box-set

Duke Special fans are in for a treat on December 11 as the boy Wilson releases not one, but two must-have artifacts.
First up is Little Revelations, a 19-track rarities album, which mixes covers of Prince’s ‘I Feel For You’, Radiohead’s ‘Lucky’, Nina Simone’s ‘Ain’t Got No’ and Gloria Jones’ ‘Tainted Love’ with hard to find Duke originals like ‘Quiet Revolutionaries’, ‘Feet In The Sky’ and ‘Glimmer Girl’.
Once you’ve digested that little lot, there’s a box-set featuring the Lucky Me, My Villain Heart and Your Vandal Heart EPs to further drool over.
Fans can also pre-order the Mother Courage And Her Children album, which soundtracks the West End play of the same name and will be available in early 2010, and two other theatrically-inclined records – The Silent World Of Hector Man and Huckleberry Finn – that the Duke’s involved with.
Add in an intimate Irish and UK tour, details of which will be announced shortly on hotpress.com, and he won’t be seeing a lot of the missus next year!
