Drinks are on him

Ireland is the starting-off point for Thirst, a global DJ competition and club night that's been put together by the Heineken posse.

The contest element, Found@Thirst, launches on September 8 and 15 with heats in The Savoy, Cork. The six finalists then get to participate in a private masterclass with Paul Oakenfold who'll be jockeying at the venue on September 21. There's also the small matter of €2,500 in cash for the most dextrous turntable merchant.
