Drake Releases Trailer for New Album

Drake drops a teaser trailer for his highly anticipated new album, Scorpion, which will be released this Friday.

In the brief, minute long, clip we see Drake’s shadowy figure move from a luxurious house to a dark studio. The title of the album flashes on screen as the video fades to black. Drake utilized the trailer music from the upcoming film “Annihilation”, starring Natalie Portman, for the background music.

The Canadian rapper has steadily built the anticipation for his upcoming album since April, with vague Instagram posts hinting at its title and release date. Following his last album, More Life, singles such as ‘I’m Upset’, ‘God’s Plan’ and ‘Nice for What’ are rumored to make it on the new tracklist.

Drake is currently touring with The Three Migos and The Aubry across North America to promote the new album.
