Director lead line up for free Cork fest
Director, Republic Of Loose and the Sultans Of Ping are set to headline this year's Indie-pendence Festival, which features a host of homegrown talent - for free!
Director, who are currently on the road in support of their new single 'Be With You', will headline on the Sunday of festival, which takes place at New Square at Mitchelstown in Cork from Friday 3 to Monday 6 August.
The Malahide foursome will lead a day which includes Delorentos, The Aftermath, Fight Like Apes, Hooray For Humans, Bill Coleman, The Times, Television Room, Exit The Street, Lerner, Exit: Pursued By A Bear.
Also set to play are Dublin's finest R'n'B band Republic Of Loose, who appear on Friday 3 along with The Chapters, Miss Motif and Noise Control.
On the Saturday, Cork's (second?) finest, Sultans Of Ping, headline a day which features The Stone Roses Experience, Ham Sandwich and Vesta Varro.
Monday 6 August is world music day, and as such features Harry J & The Conspiracy, Niwell Tsumbu, Poles Apart, Nigerian drums and Brazilian samba.
