Dervish and Duke Special join forces
Two Irish trad groups and two Ulster songwriters are to play a brace of double-headliners in Sligo this October.
The Irish trad/Ulster maverick interface starts here with Beoga & Foy Vance (October 25) and Dervish & Duke Special (27) both doubling up at Sligo’s Clarence Hotel.
The good Duke also plays matinee and evening shows in the Belfast Opera House on November 3, and then joins Crowded House for their Irish and UK arena tour.
Add in the imminent re-release of his Songs From The Deep Forest album with oodles of bonus tracks, and we reckon the British charts are there for the taking.
