Damien Dempsey's Seize The Day opus has been welcomed with wide open arms by the British press...
It's rave reviews all round as Damien Dempsey's Seize The Day album finally hits the racks in the UK.
"You know he's going to be huge" trills the The Independent; "A phenomenal voice, soaring melodies and the ability to nail any of society's problems", gushes The Sunday Times; and "He has a fantastic voice", drools Morrissey who'll have Damo supporting him when he swings by Dublin Castle on June 5.
There's also been a positive reaction at radio with BBC Radios 2, 4 and 6 all giving him copious amounts of coverage.
Along with his Mozzer support, you can catch Dempsey at the Opera House, Cork (June 6); The Lough Ree Arms, Lanesborough (18); Stormont Castle, Belfast (26 + Bob Dylan); Pearse Stadium, Galway (27 + Bob Dylan); Junction Festival, Clonmel (July 8); and WOMAD, Reading (24).
