Demi Lovato talks about mental illness at DNC

Back in June, pop star Demi Lovato opened up about her mental health struggles in the magazine American Way. Now, she's stepped up her activism to an even bigger platform.
Lovato took the Democratic National Convention stage last night to give a voice to the millions of Americans living with mental illness.
She called for access to mental health treatment for all classes.
"Like millions of Americans, I am living with mental illness", she said. "But I am lucky. I had the resources and support to get treatment at a top facility. Unfortunately, too many Americans from all walks of life don’t get help, whether they fear the stigma or cannot afford treatment".
She then endorsed Hillary Clinton, whom she called a "presidential candidate who will fight to ensure all people with mental health conditions get the care they need to live fulfilling lives".
She then performed her hit single 'Confident'.
