Delorean Suite: Two Lives
Sunshine beats from Limerick trio...
Delorean Suite’s debut kicks off with the already well-known ‘Deep Love’. The lead track from the Limerick outfit’s first EP still sounds as effortlessly breezy and funky as before, and sets the tone here, as DS pick up where they left off in 2011.
Jenny McMahon’s sensuous vocal talents could soundtrack the most beautiful of Balearic sunsets, while the fusion of broken soul, nu-jazz, ’70s disco and straight-up house, laid down by beatmakers Tony Roche and Graham Conway, provides the perfect platform for McMahon to float over.
‘Deep Love’, ‘Running Away’ and ‘By Your Side’ aim straight for the dancefloor. The right remix could see this Limerick group make the big breakthrough.
