Deep Sea Diver share new single 'Shovel' from upcoming album Billboard Heart

Seattle indie rock band Deep Sea Diver have returned with a new single ‘Shovel’, from their upcoming fourth album Billboard Heart – out February 28 via Sub Pop.
In collaboration with Tyler Kalberg, the band helped direct an accompanying music video for the track. Recorded in a single shot, the video takes inspiration from artists like David Lynch, the Cohen brothers, Nick Cave, and Kate Bush.
“‘Shovel’ is one of the most angular and dualistic songs I’ve written, and I wanted to do a one-shot video that captured the grit, rawness, and intensity of the song,” says lead singer and guitarist Jessica Dobson. “Simply put, it is me digging and dancing with a shovel in the middle of the night, desperately looking for beauty in dark places.”
The band includes Dobson’s partner, co-writer and drummer Peter Mansen, as well as Elliot Jackson on synth.
