Declan O'Rourke's Arrivals debuts at No.2 on the Official Irish Albums Chart
Arrivals is the Irish singer-songwriter's highest-charting album to date.
Following its highly anticipated release last Friday, Declan O'Rourke's new album, Arrivals, has debuted at No.2 on the Official Irish Albums Chart this week. The acclaimed Paul Weller-produced project is O'Rourke's highest-charting album to date – outperforming 2016's In Full Colour, which peaked at No.3 – and was the best-selling on CD and vinyl.
Arrivals was crowned Hot Press's Album of the Month in our new issue – which also features a must-read interview with the singer-songwriter.
Elsewhere on the chart, Taylor Swift debuts at No.1 on the chart, with Fearless (Taylor's Version) – her sixth chart-topping project in Ireland. The original Fearless album peaked at No.7 in 2009.
Hip-hop icon DMX is at No.20, with The Best of DMX, following his death last week. The greatest hits album was originally released in January 2010.
On the Official Irish Singles Chart, meanwhile, Lil Nas X scores a third week at No.1 with 'Montero (Call Me By Your Name)'. He's followed by Polo G's 'RAPSTAR' at No.2; Justin Bieber's 'Peaches' at No.3; Joel Corry, RAYE and David Guetta's 'Bed' at No.4; and Glass Animals' 'Heat Waves' at No.5.
