Death Grips Release New Free Album
The controversial Sacramento rap group have released their fourth album.
Death Grips have released their new album Government Plates which is available to download for free now.
The group, comprising of rapper MC Ride, producer Andy “Flatliner” Morin and drummer Zach Hill, made the announcement via their Facebook page yesterday evening (November 13).
The album is the group’s first since their well-publicised spat with Epic Records after they leaked their record NO LOVE DEEP WEB prior to its release. The group were subsequently dropped from the label.
Irish audiences will be familiar with the group from their particularly raucous gig in Whelans earlier this year.
The tracklist for Government Plates is:
'You might think he loves you for your money but I know what he really loves you for it's your brand new leopard skin pillbox hat'
'Anne Bonny'
'Two Heavens'
'This is Violence Now (Dont get me wrong)'
'Birds'
'Feels like a wheel'
'Im Overflow'
'Big House'
'Government Plates'
'Bootleg (Dont need your help)'
'Whatever I want (Fuck who's watching)'
The album can be streamed via the group’s [link]https://soundcloud.com/deathgrips[/link] and can also be downloaded here
