David Baddiel brings new stand-up show to Dublin
David Baddiel is Dublin-bound on March 13, 2014, for a one-night stand in Vicar St.
His first full show for 15 years, Fame: Not The Musical finds Baddiel pondering his New Lad/Token Jew/Comedy Rock ‘n’ Roller persona in a thoroughly self-deprecating fashion.
It’s already got a resounding ‘thumbs up’ from his comedy chums – it’s like Bruce/Kenny/Tarby all over again! – with Ricky Gervais proclaiming he “loved it! Funny and poignant. I’d even go as far as saying ‘inspirational’”; “Really smart and funny” is the Al Murray verdict and Jack Dee reckons it to be “funny, honest and touching. In that order.”
Tickets priced €25 go on sale on Friday October 18.
