It will include collaborations from Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, rapper Theophilus London and TVOTR band mates Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone

There are also unconfirmed rumors of involvement from David Byrne.

Going by the name of Maximum Balloon, it is the first solo effort for the musician who aside from work with TV on The Radio has produced albums for Liars, Foals and Scarlett Johansson.

He has said that the album is not something meant to be reproduced live, and instead includes all the extravagance of whatever studio experimentation entered his head.

The album is due for an August release.
