Damon Albarn blasts Bono and Bob
Damon Albarn has criticised Bono and Bob Geldof's attempts to get debt relief for African nations, accusing them of being "imperious".
The Blur and Gorillaz singer said the Irishmen needed to think more about what African people want, The Sun reports.
"Be interested in what they are interested in," he said, "and don't impose your own ideas".
Damon previously slammed Live8 for the lack of world music, and organised a competing event at the London Eye with a prominent world music presence.
But not content with blasting the RED campaigner and Live 8 organiser, Albarn also claimed Radiohead were "hypocrites" for talking about social issues and then going "on one-and-a-half year stadium tours...where you set yourself up as the subject of thousands of people's adoration".
Yikes.
Albarn's solo album, The Good, The Bad, And The Queen is due out in September.
