Damien Rice: New Album With Rick Rubin Confirmed
The man who broke through with the astonishing debut album, O, is back with a new record...
Damien Rice is back from the wilderness! As predicted by Hot Press, the acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter is set to release his new album in Ireland on October 31at. The title has also been confirmed as My Favourite Faded Fantasy.
The album is being released by Warner Music and can be pre-ordered now. Details of the album remain scanty, though it has been confirmed that Rick Rubin is the producer. Rubin is one of the most prolific and influential producers in modern music with an extraordinary catalogue of important and influential records to his credit.
What appears to be the track-listing for the record was posted on Damien Rice’s own Twitter feed on 4 September. But today’s official announcement means that we can say definitively that we are in for a pre-Christmas treat. Watch this space.
