Daithí to score new Channel 4 series Hunting Alice Bell
The series is set to release next year.
Irish producer and composer Daithí has revealed that he is writing the score for the upcoming Channel 4 psychological thriller Hunting Alice Bell.
First announced in September 2025, Hunting Alice Bell is a six-part series created by David Baddiel and Peter Bradshaw. All episodes will be directed by Paul Walker.
The story centres on a former nurse accused online of being the accomplice to a notorious anaesthetist serial killer. When another woman is wrongly identified as the killer’s accomplice, her life is torn apart, and she, along with other falsely accused women, must band together to clear their names. The plot examines themes of identity, mob mentality, and the power of online rumours.
Daithí is an Irish multi-instrumentalist, electronic music producer and film composer from County Clare. His work blends Irish cultural elements with electronic and house influences.

He first gained recognition with singles such as ‘Mary Keane’s Introduction,’ and has released several albums and EPs, including Holiday Home in 2017 and L.O.S.S. in 2019.
In recent years, Daithí has increasingly focused on composing for film. His score for Lakelands earned him an IFTA nomination, and he also composed for Christy, a film that won the Grand Prix at the Berlinale in 2024.
Daithí describes his creative work as existing “at the intersection of Irish heritage and modern electronic soundscapes, where house beats meet the warmth of analog textures and the haunting echoes of distant voices.”
