Speaking on the upcoming gigs, Noonan shares: “HousePlants shows continue to be a joy, and having 2 albums and an EP to draw from make for a weighty doorstep sanger of a gig. Plus some of them have grown new limbs and appendages… Also! - we have a great cover that we’ll be slinging at these pop concerts.”
While Daithí adds: “My biggest addiction is the feeling in the room of a HousePlants gig. The shows have become wild powerful celebrations of life, full of joy.. and sweat!”
Live at The Beekeeper’s was entirely recorded at Daithí’s artist retreat, The Beekeeper’s. He reflects on recording after their last tour, during a time of synchronicity: “everyone is aligned, we can read each other’s minds a little bit - It's a lovely feeling, and one that I think Allyn the director caught perfectly.”
Tickets for HousePlants’ Cork, Galway and Limerick gigs go on sale this Friday, September 19 here.
